Mmm there is such a thing as a gym balloon. I've seen quite a few in my aunts' houses last Sat, and they're actually fun to play with. They can be sat on, rolled over, and squeezed into. These gym balloons, they're actually balloons used for indoor exercises. Like when you try to balance yourself on the gym balloon in a sitting position, you'll have to lift both your legs off the ground and try balancing yourself up by voluntarily contracting your core muscles in your abdomen. In other words, you'll have to contract and relax your tummy muscle alternately between intervals. :P

3.
Last saturday, i went down to Batu Pahat and i've been taught that in the making of a huge steamed muffin-like chinese traditional cake, the batter has to be stirred continuously in a very quick manner so that less dampened air which will eventually moisten the steamed cake will end up being trapped in the dough.

4.
Last Saturday also, i've learnt that joss papers can be folded into more than one pattern. In fact, apart from the usual cylindrical pattern, i've been taught to fold them up into 3 other patterns which each symbolises different amount of spirit money. Like for the cylindrical ones, they represent small money changes like coins, and the sampan-shaped ones represent money notes. Once they're all burnt, the spirit money, it's then believed that wealth's been transferred to the ancestors and ghosts in the afterlife.

And lastly, this is a family picture of me and my grandma and some of my cousins, taken at a restaurant in Batu Pahat last saturday.

I'll be back on Fri. Ask Jialibels!
