the missing piece.

'i loved you, Bethany, because you were the one relationship i never had to earn. You arrived in this world loving me more, even when i did not deserve it.'

- Vanishing Acts, Jodi Picoult

Sometimes, i think we tend to take a lot of things for granted. I take time for granted, my parents for granted, my friends for granted. Because we always choose to magnify almost everything at its worst, even when the advantages it brings outshine the disadvantages.

It's like fever. Mmm.. I've learnt that fever is an important part of the body's defense against infection. Because most bacteria and viruses that cause infections in people thrive best at 37 C, high fevers (37.2 c - 37.5 c) are developed in hopes of terminating those infections. Hence while a fever signals to us that a battle might be going on in our body, the fever's fighting for us, not against.

See the lonely girl in the picture above? She's unhappy and frustrated, when in fact, she doesn't have too. Because there's a guardian looking after her, only to get unnoticed. The one missing puzzle, it comes in the shape of a guardian dog and it has always been there. It just doesn't get noticed.

I believe i'm being looked after too, and it doesn't matter if i'm left alone sometimes. Because someone back at home, he'll always love me unconditionally. Because he's the one relationship i never have to earn.

:)

See things differently, and any seemingly bad day can turn into the happiest day.

depends on how u look at the head. if u consider the two years it looks like a cat. if u take it as the head pointing up with a visible nose n a visible ear it is a dog. Briliant pic. up to yr imagination
