Dee

Greetings :) Bread tarts are really yummy stuffs. Mmm..

2 days ago, i went to get my new IC done. With Dee. And i had one of the best times of my life. :D

My Dee is a really reallyyy funny man.

Hehe.

Cause when we were randomly ushered to a counter at one corner, an averagely miserable-looking lady happened to be our attendant. She didn't look severely depressed, she just looked.. unhappy.

And when we were done filling in forms, my dad proceeded to evaluate the service provided. He tossed our queuing ticket into a rating rack made up of 4 transparent compartments. Each compartment was labelled accordingly - excellent, good, average and poor; and all four of them were stamped on with different smileys.

My dad took a quick glance at the rating rack placed on the frontal end part of the attendant's desk and almost involuntarily, he tossed his ticket into the compartment printed with a smiling face that was labelled 'excellent'. Then right after that he pointed at the last, half-fulled compartment printed with a sulky face and said, 'eh, guane ade orang letok hok muke musang ni? Ai ai ai.. Ini kan muke musang ni..' Seriously, man. Musang means murung.

At first the lady at that counter sulked even more, but my dad kept talking and talking, half joking half cajoling, until the end when she finally smiled us an escaped smile. My Dee is special in a way that he can effortlessly sweet-talk / cheer up even the world's most depressed person. And i call that verbal intelligence.

:D

By the time we were done, i had laughed till my stomach hurt.

After that we walked over to the next counter, to get my IC pic taken. Once we got there, my dad smiled at the guy in-charge of the counter and said, 'ni mari ambik gambor ni. Nok hok paling cantek paling comel paling cerah. Kang aset ni.. Kene ambik hok paling comel sekali baru jadi ni.'

:D

And the first pic taken was rejected by my dad. He told the guy in-charge to take another pic of me, cause in the first pic i grinned a tad bit too widely. Hehe. Because he could speak lightly and funnily in pure Ganu slang, that guy in-charge happily allowed me to get another pic taken. And so i had a 2nd try on my IC pic. :D

After we were done with all that, the guy in-charge compared my 12-year-old pic to the one he had just taken and said, 'banyok beruboh ni.' Then casually my dad replied, 'Oh doh tentu. Dulu hodoh, sebab dok tau pilih color baju gi.' Haha.

I like hanging out with my dad.

Dee comes first, always and forever, only followed by Dee Dee, and then others.

:D
