it's like chasing the very last train
I woke up at 7 today, waved my roommate goodbye, then went back to sleep. Then at about 8, i got up, changed, and went down to the cafe to buy breakfast. Unusual, i know. I don't usually buy my breakfast. But it was my last day there, i mean last day at my residential college before my sem break, so i decided to do something unusual. Hehe.
Mmmm.. I had my last paper today, OSPE. Like mad. I was rushing from one station to the other like a lost sheep. There were 23 stations altogether, and a whole whole lot of microscopes. As i looked down at each microscope i was like, 'Oh jeez. What is this?' Then i looked and looked and looked into the microscope, and wrote nothing still, until i took a final look at my watch and just crapped whatever. Then at one station i was totally shocked. There was this huge machine resting on the desk, station 9 i think, and i was like, 'man, what am i gonna do with this?' Such mess.
And my flight was at 8.05pm today. At 6.15pm i was on my way to the airport, feeling good and happy. Until i rummaged into my purse looking for my IC. I cracked up then. IC IC IC, out out out. But i couldn't find it in my purse i couldn't find it in my bag and i couldn't find it in my luggage as well. I calmed myself down, and dialled to my dad. Then he told me i could use my driving license. And if they didn't allow me to, he'd fax over to them a copy of my photostated IC.
By the time i arrived the airport, i went over to counter 57, to check in. As i neared the counter i was like, 'daymnnn, why such long queue?' Cause normally, the counter for flights to Terengganu or vice versa will be free, of people, of heavy luggages. There won't be a queue. Never. But today, the queue was soooo longgg it took me half an hour to get myself checked in. Such mess. ): And luckily they accepted my driving license.
Then again, the plane i boarded was supposed to land at 9.30 but it was raining like mad in terengganu so the pilot in-charge couldn't make his landing and i ended up staying in the plane for a total of one and a half hour. Such mess. And it has been really really long since i last boarded on a plane at night so when they dimmed the lights off during landing, i thought of all my firsts. I thought of the first time i had tried on my mum's lipstick, of the first time i was being locked up in the kitchen, of the first time i had wished for a frog for christmas. Frog. I wonder if that's the reason why i'm so scared of them now.
But the thing is, I'M HOME. HOME HOME HOME. :) :) :)
P.S: I've waited for you, waiting still. Talk talk talk talk to mee, kie.
