Puzzled.
It's so stupid. I thought it was near me all the while, well if it wasn't, I thought it was at least looking out for me once in a while.
I suddenly realised that I was just an accessory. Merely one of the many pairs of earrings you pick up from the dressing table to put on when you feel like it. How could I have overlooked such a simple thing?
Whatever, really. whatever. I'm sick of saying whatever when in fact, it matters to me a great deal. I'm sick of the water lettuces in my life.
I'm strong, too. And I shall not let anyone or anything makes me feel like a petty, puny, unsightly little insect.
